Process and Quality Management
Process and Quality Management
Creating and evaluating statistics are two of the key tasks in our department. We work across departments and locations, in close collaboration with management. Other tasks in our daily work include inventory and stock control and analyzing and reconciling any stock differences. To optimize our processes, we regularly work on concepts for improvement and produce manuals for our colleagues on the warehouse floor. We’re also responsible for designing and managing the warehouse structure. We check this regularly for sustainability and deal with any damage notifications in cooperation with suppliers.

DC Office & Controlling
DC Office & Controlling
Office & Controlling is where we evaluate movements of goods and the employee hours spent on this. Working closely with all managers, we aim to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across all SNIPES’ logistics processes. We analyze statistics and generate key figures that enable us to draw conclusions about productivity in the different departments and leverage these conclusions for subsequent planning. We also create Excel tools to reduce the workload for managers. Another of our core tasks is preparatory accounting. This involves checking and allocating invoices and then authorizing them. We’re also responsible for purchasing non-retail goods and for ensuring incoming goods are correctly posted. We act as the contact point for temporary employment agencies, other third companies, guests, and employees.
